I love Chocolate Crinkles. They are super yummy, pretty and they look festive for the holiday season. (or anytime of the year really) Making Chocolate Crinkles can be rather time consuming so make sure you give yourself enough time to make these. You can easily double, or triple this recipe if needed. Sorry I don't have any pictures of these cookies!
Chocolate Crinkles
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup soymilk (or other non dairy milk)
1 tablespoon brown rice flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
1 1/4 cup flour
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/4 + 1/8 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 + 1/8 teaspoons cream of tarter
1/4 teaspoon salt
For Rolling Cookies:
Sifted Powder Sugar
Preheat oven to 325*F. Spray cookie pans with non stick cooking spray. In a large bowl mix the sugar, oil, maple syrup, vanilla, soymilk, brown rice flour and melted chocolate chips until smooth. Add in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, cream of tarter and salt and mix until a thick moist dough forms. Cover the bowl and put it in the fridge for around 20 minutes. Once the dough has chilled for 20 minutes take it out and start rolling the dough into teaspoon size balls, then roll the balls into the powder sugar. Place on cookie sheet about two inches apart and bake for 10-14 minutes. Let them cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes then put them on the waxed paper.

Yummy Almond Joy Recipe
The other day a friend shared this is recipe with me. I made them last night and they turned out so good! You really should try them out! Yummy! The were super easy to make only using a handful of ingredients. I used different dates then she recommends using so mine were a little drier. I ended up adding a couple tablespoons of rice milk to help everything stick together better. After I added the rice milk it was very easy to roll into balls. I rolled about half of the balls in shredded coconut and the other half in cocoa powder. The shredded coconut wouldn't stick to the balls at first so I finely chopped the coconut so that the pieces were smaller and would stick better. The finished result was really good. I'm very happy this recipe tastes good because my little sisters have taken sugar out of there diets and its nice to be able to make them treats that are yummy.

Rimmel London Stay Glossy Lip Gloss Review

I recently purchased Stay Glossy by Rimmel in the shade Timeless Allure. The lip gloss is cranberry colored with some sparkles. The color is really rich in color in the package. On the lips its a pretty shear color. I think it gives the perfect wash of color on the lips. Its nice for the days when you don't want a really bright color. The color is build able, the first layer is really light but the second layer is a really nice wash of color. My favorite thing about this lip gloss is that it isn't sticky. Its really smooth and it feels really great on the lips. It says its suppose to last up to 6 hours. It lasted a really long time for me. I put it on at 2pm and it still looked great at about 6pm and it probably would have lasted longer if I hadn't eaten dinner. It smells like something but I can't really describe it. When I was putting it on I could smell it a lot but once it was on my lips the smell didn't bother me anymore. I really like this lip gloss and I would like to get some more colors soon! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a lip gloss with a lovely texture, shear wash of color, that doesn't smell bad!
Much Love,
Amanda
